Tottenham Hotspur target reveals his five-year plan following Spurs trial

Kion Etete trialled at Tottenham earlier this season and has plans to play at the highest level possible.

The 17-year-old bagged two goals against West Ham for Spurs' under-18 side at the end of a week-long trial at Hotspur Way.

Etete's rise has been rapid and he only signed professional terms on his 17th birthday after making his debut in October when he was still just 16. That was against Newcastle United under-23s in the Checkatrade Trophy.

The youngster has went on to play four times for Notts County in the league but already has got his mind focused on the next five years and not just his next performance.

Etete told allnigeriasoccer.com: ''I only played grassroots football before I joined Notts County.

''I'd like to think that I'm a quick, strong striker and love taking shots at goal.

''In the next five years I want to be playing regular first team football at the highest level I possibly can."

Etete may also have to make a decision on his international future during that time if he continues to draw interest.

'I'm eligible to represent England and Nigeria," he said. "I'm not sure, and it would be an honour (to play for Nigeria) but I would have to consult with my parents before making any decisions."
