Former Crystal Palace owner Simon Jordan has listed five reasons why he feels Tottenham are the best run football club in the Premier League.
Tottenham are flying high in the top flight with Mauricio Pochettino's side second despite failing to make a single summer signing.
And Jordan has heaped praise on Daniel Levy by suggesting his former rival has formed an outstanding club on and off the pitch.
Jordan, speaking on talkSPORT, said of Tottenham: 'I think Spurs are to me – and I have no dog in the fight as I was involved with another London club and I had lots of run-ins with Spurs and Daniel Levy.
'But in my view Spurs are probably the best football club in the Premier League for a variety of reasons.
'1. Because of their organic development of players and their youth development.
'2. Because of their propensity to go down the pyramid and scout properly. No other club in the Premier League would have bought Dele Alli.
'3. Because they put top players like Harry Kane out on loan for passages of time in their career so they develop the right attitude.
'4. Because of their control over finances.
'5. Because they are building the best stadium in the world.'
Pochettino has received widespread praise for his work at White Hart Lane since replacing Tim Sherwood in 2014 but Jordan believes he could be a factor in the club failing to win a trophy during his reign.
Jordan added: 'My only concern for Tottenham is Pochettino and his ability to be a big game winner.
'I think Tottenham have had two key opportunities in the last three or four years — and no discredit to Leicester — Tottenham should have won the title that year and they also should have won the cup semi-final against Manchester United.
'It may show Pochettino's inability to get across the line.'
