Tottenham have no plans to sign a new first-choice goalkeeper this summer.
Spurs captain Hugo Lloris' place as Mauricio Pochettino's No 1 has come under scrutiny at various junctures this season after multiple high-profile errors.
His form was again thrust into the spotlight on Sunday after his mistake gifted Liverpool a last-minute winner at Anfield.
But it is understood the club do not currently have any intention to sign a new keeper despite Lloris' indifferent campaign.
Pochettino, together with the club's recruitment team, are prioritising other areas to strengthen this summer.
Tottenham want, potentially, two new central midfielders this summer, particularly if they are successful in offloading Victor Wanyama.
Pochettino also wants to add further creativity to his forward line with Christian Eriksen looking likely to leave as he stalls on signing a new deal with just one year remaining on his contract.
A new left back and a support striker to Harry Kane are also on Tottenham's shopping list, while they will also be in the market for a central defender if, as expected, they lose Toby Alderweireld, who has a £25million release clause in his contract.
As Sportsmail revealed last month, Tottenham will enter the transfer market this summer after two consecutive windows without signing a single player.
But there is a realisation that signing an upgrade on Lloris would mean a huge financial commitment, particularly given they are prioritising other areas of the pitch to strengthen, though further error could yet force the club into a rethink.
The France international, who lifted the World Cup in Russia last summer, has established a reputation as one of Europe's most accomplished goalkeepers since arriving from Lyon in 2012.
Pochettino also rates current No 2 Paulo Gazzaniga highly and there is a feeling inside the Spurs training HQ that the Argentine could replace Lloris on a longer-term basis should the senior goalkeeper's form continue to slide.
