Luis Enrique claim
According to Spanish outlet Sport, Tottenham are interested in Luis Enrique becoming their next permanent manager following Antonio Conte's departure last month.
It is claimed that Spurs, along with London rivals Chelsea, stands out as the most likely destination for the former Barcelona boss. The report also goes on to say that Enrique is seen as the "dream" appointment for the Lilywhites.
During his time at the Nou Camp, the Spaniard won two La Liga titles and a UEFA Champions League trophy.
Lloris interview
Spurs captain Hugo Lloris has claimed that interim head coach Cristian Stellini is giving the squad continuity on the training pitch following Antonio Conte's departure.
"Cristian knows very well the players, he knows well the club. He's just here to give continuity and try to finish the job as good as we can," the former France No.1 said. "Again, I repeat, it is also the responsibility of everyone, not only one people more than the other. It's players, coaching staff, medical staff, all the people involved to create the right energy.
"Last week was very good. [It was] Positive and we have to stay positive and try to recover the energy and obviously results and wins give you more confidence, especially in this period that is very decisive."
Rodgers favourite to replace Conte
Brendan Rodgers is the current bookies favourite to take over from Antonio Conte at Spurs.
Rodgers was relieved of his duties by Leicester City on Sunday whilst Conte parted ways with the Lllywhites just over a week ago. Latest odds from Betfair place the north Irishman as the frontrunner to succeed Conte, priced at 9/4 favourite.
Former Tottenham head coach Mauricio Pochettino is 10/3 to take over in N17 whilst ex-Bayern Munich boss Julian Nagelsmann and recently sacked Chelsea head coach Graham Potter are both priced at 6/1.
