Danny Rose is reportedly set to see out the remainder of his Tottenham contract and leave on a free in the summer after turning down a January move to Turkey.
The former England left back has become the forgotten man at Tottenham under Jose Mourinho, having last played for the club in their 1-0 defeat against Liverpool in January 2020.
And according to The Athletic, Rose had a couple of tempting offers to move to Turkey in the January transfer window but rejected any potential switch.
Rose had previously been linked with a move Trabzonspor, with it having been reported that he was offered a three-and-a-half-year deal to join the SuperLig side.
Furthermore, it was reported that he had the opportunity to join relegation-threatened West Brom this month - having previously worked with Sam Allardyce for England - but talks had not progressed.
Rose appears to have no future under Mourinho at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, having been omitted from both the Premier League and Europa League squads this season.
The 30-year-old has made just five appearances in all competitions under Mourinho, and has spent the majority of the season playing with the development squad.
Rose left north London on loan last January for fellow Premier League side Newcastle until the end of the season.
He was swiftly shipped out by Mourinho following his arrival at the club, with the pair involved in a heated exchange that was caught on camera by the crew filming Amazon's All or Nothing series as he expressed his frustrations over his lack of playing time.
But barring a late turn in events before Monday's deadline, the left back is set to stay at Spurs this winter.
Rose will continue to train and play with Tottenham's Under 23s side, which he has been doing so since he wasn't handed a squad number by the club in the summer.
It will represent a bleak ending to his Tottenham career, having represented the club since 2007, making 214 appearances during that time.
