Yves Bissouma a target for Arsenal and Liverpool

Brighton’s Yves Bissouma has been a seemingly summer-long target for both Arsenal and Liverpool, with both sides thought to be incredibly interested in signing the Malian international.

He has done his reputation no harm in the opening games of the season, impressing for the Seagulls in both victory and defeat.

Given Arsenal’s poor start to the season, it is unsurprising that links to the midfield destroyer have not gone away, although a move looks unlikely this late in the window.

Tottenham reportedly set to steal a march for Bissouma

One club that have rarely been linked with the midfielder, however, are Arsenal’s bitter north London rivals Tottenham Hotspur. However, as per the Sunday Express [allegedly quoting the Sunday Mirror], Nuno Espirito Santo’s side are “chasing” an eleventh-hour move for the player.

This news would come as a bitter blow to Arsenal fans, who have convinced themselves that Bissouma holds the answer to many of their problems in the opening games of the season.

If the midfielder did end up at the Tottenham Hostpur stadium come deadline day, and continued to impress this season, serious questions would be asked
