Bundesliga market values by Transfermarkt: Downgrades for the Bayern stars.

For Bundesliga second-placed Bayern, there is a decrease of €16m, taking the club’s new squad value to €980m.

Among the four devalued Bayern stars are well-known players such as Sadio Mané (-€15m to €45m), João Cancelo (-€10m to €70m) Manuel Neuer (-€5m to €7m) and Serge Gnabry (-€10m to €55m).

"Gnabry has fallen a little short of expectations this season and the assumption is that Bayern's willingness to give him away has increased," said market value admin Frederic Hillmann. "In the context of performance and age, we currently see him behind [Leroy] Sané and [Kingsley] Coman."

"So far, the most notable Bayern signing of recent years has not been able to match the performances from his Liverpool days and has probably lost a lot of his value,"

Hillman noted on the topic of Mané’s new market value. "In [Julian] Nagelsmann's system he didn't work so well, under Tuchel there is another chance."

The fact that the decrease in squad value for Bayern has not turned out to be larger is due, among other things, to the increase in values for Jamal Musiala (+€10m to €110m) and Josip Stanisic (+€4m to €12m). Musiala now has the highest market value ever for a German football player on Transfermarkt.

Dortmund’s outstanding form since the World Cup is also reflected in the new market values.

The stand-out figure for the Black and Yellows is a further increase for Jude Bellingham, whose value rises by €10m to €120m. This now means that the England international is the joint-third most valuable player in the world, level with Real Madrid and Brazil star Vinicius Jr. and remains the Bundesliga’s most valuable star, despite a number of big increases at his own club and across the German top-flight.
