Tottenham Hotspur defender Kieran Trippier is set to have his medical with Atletico Madrid today as his exit from the north London club nears.
The right-back, who joined Tottenham from Burnley in 2015 for £3.5m, is expected to move to the La Liga giants for a figure believed to be around £25m in the coming days.
Trippier carried a groin injury for much of last season which saw his form dip for Spurs following the high of his free-kick goal in the World Cup semi-final against Croatia.
Now Spurs have decided to part company with the right-back who was linked with Napoli, Bayern Munich and Juventus towards the end of the season, but it appears to be Atletico who have won the race for his signature.
