The end of the 2020/21 season is just a month and a half away, but a lot of the usual European giants' participation in next season's Champions League is still in doubt.
Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar, Erling Haaland, Kylian Mbappe, and Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool are all at risk of falling into the Europa League for 2021/22.
Liverpool are at risk
Real Madrid face Liverpool in the Champions League last 16 this week, and the Reds have regained some form of late. But with 49 points they currently sit sixth in the Premier League, two points of fourth-placed Chelsea.
Both West Ham and Everton are still within touching distance of the reigning Premier League champions, so they could yet fall further down the table.
Juventus' decline
Cristiano Ronaldo and Juventus are in real danger. They're 12 points off Inter and won't reclaim their title. What's more striking though is that both AC Milan and Atalanta are also above them, and Napoli can move ahead of them with a win in Turin on Wednesday as they meet in their postponed Matchday three meeting.
Mbappe and Neymar: Title or bust
Paris Saint-Germain's loss to Lille left them three points adrift of their opponents, who now top the table. Monaco are just a point off the capital side, while Lyon are two points behind in the Europa League places.
Haaland has one foot out
Mino Raiola looks determined to move Haaland on this summer and he's unlikely to be at Borussia Dortmund next season. As things stand, they're not going to be in the Champions League next term, and are seven points off the top four, with Bayern Munich, RB Leipzig, Wolfsburg and Eintracht Frankfurt ahead of them.
A summer with big names looking for moves?
The summer transfer market is set to be an interesting one. Neymar, Mohamed Salah, Ronaldo, Mbappe and Haaland could all look for new clubs in order to play in next season's Champions League.
