The Champions League quarter-finals continue! Welcome to our All Football Champions League Preview!
Man Utd vs Barcelona
Kick Off: 21:00 (CET)
Date: Wed, 10-Apr-19
Probable Lineups:
Man Utd News:
Manchester United can welcome back Pogba from suspension in the Champions League and their injury woes have eased massively since they played Paris Saint-Germain.
Mata, Lingard, Matic, Martial and Jones all missed out against PSG last time but are all back now. Sanchez, Valencia and Darmian are all expected to miss out for the home side.
Rashford and Herrera missed United's last match with minor injuries and are expected to be available for Solskjaer's side on Wednesday.
Young, Shaw, Herrera, Matic and Valencia are all one booking away from missing the return leg.
Barcelona News:
Dembele will reportedly be fit enough to make the bench against Manchester United on Wednesday.
Vidal missed Saturday's 2-0 win over Atletico Madrid through suspension but is free to play here. He will compete with Arthur for a starting berth in midfield.
Umtiti has not looked overly convincing since returning from injury, which should see Clement Lenglet continue at the back.
Roberto or Semedo will get the nod at right-back, the latter is one booking away from a one-match ban in the competition.
Focus:
Manchester United host Barcelona for the first time since 2008 when a Paul Scholes screamer was enough to win 1-0. Solskjaer would bite your hand off for that result.
Barcelona are unbeaten in their 16 matches in all competitions and are heavy favourites heading into this tie. Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez should have a field day against United's defence.
United have gone off the boil at the worst possible moment, losing three of their last four matches.
WhoScored Prediction:
Man Utd 0-2 Barcelona
Ajax vs Juventus
Kick Off: 21:00 (CET)
Date: Wed, 10-Apr-19
Probable Lineups:
Ajax News:
Noussair Mazraoui is for Ajax due to an accumulation of bookings in the competition. 21-year-old Rasmus Kristensen will likely get the nod at right-back.
No other changes are expected from Ajax's usual starting XI. Ziyech, Daley Blind, De Ligt and Tagliafico will miss the return leg if they are booked here.
Juventus News
Ronaldo has not played for Juventus since scoring a hat-trick in this competition, missing the Old Lady's last four matches through injury. He is pushing to return from a thigh injury.
Can was forced off after 25 minutes in Juventus' 2-1 win over AC Milan on Saturday and will play no part here. Sami Khedira is at least back to cover for Can if required.
Sandro will return at left-back after missing Juventus' last Champions League game through suspension. Matuidi and Bernardeschi are one booking away from missing the return leg.
Bernardeschi could get the nod over Dybala, as he did against Atletico last time out in the competition. Kean has scored in his last five apperances for club and country but will have to settle for a place on the bench on Wednesday.
Focus:
Ajax eliminated defending champions Real Madrid in the last round of the Champions League and will have nothing to fear when they take on Juventus in the quarter-finals.
Ajax have won nine of their last 10 matches in all competitions and average 3.5 goals per game in that time.
A Ronaldo hat-trick eliminated Atletico Madrid in the last round and Juventus are favourites heading into their quarter-final tie with Ajax.
Juventus have actually lost their last two Champions League away matches but will back themselves at home to overturn any deficit.
WhoScored Prediction:
Ajax 2-2 Juventus
