Dayot Upamecano could be set to join the Premier League this year as his agent has confirmed he will choose between two 'top' English clubs 'soon'.
The highly-rated French defender - who is also a top transfer target for Bayern Munich - is available for just £38million this summer due to a release clause in his contract.
Upamecano's agent has said the 22-year-old made a 'good impression' on the Premier League clubs during their negotiations and confirmed that the English top-flight will be his 'only' destination.
The news comes shortly after Upamecano's representative were spotted meeting with Bayern Munich in secret.
The report claims the Frenchman's agents, Sascha Breese and Volker Struth, were spotted entering the underground car park of Bayern Munich's offices just after 4pm on Thursday.
The pair were reportedly seen leaving the complex at around 7pm on the same evening after a meeting with Bayern sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic, with BILD claiming the meeting held this week was about Upamecano's future.
Upamecano's impressive performances for his current club RB Leipzig have made him one of the most sought-after defenders in Europe.
The 22-year-old established himself as a regular in Julian Nagelsmann's side last season - helping the club reach the Champions League semi-finals and finish third in the Bundesliga.
Upamecano also featured in all but one of Leipzig's Bundesliga matches this season as Nagelsmann's men close in on leaders Bayern Munich.
As a result, Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool have all been linked with Upamecano ahead of the summer as they look to claim his signature at a discounted price.
