Who is the best player of Premier League this season so far? We name 5 candidates based on their ratings & performances. Please vote for the player who impressed you most this season.

Sadio Mane (Liverpool)

Stats: 14 goals, 7 assists, 7.50 average ratings, 7 MOTMs, EPL POTM winner for Nov

Salah or Mane, who's the better winger in Liverpool? Hard to answer the question but one thing could be confirmed is Mane deserves a spot of EPL MVP candidate.

Salah has produced many marvellous seasons to us, and so does this year. But Mane showed us the improvement this season. This year he isn't only a scorer but also able to be a playmaker. His 7 EPL assists this season could be ranked at T-2nd in Liverpool, equal with Firmino and Robertson, just less than TAA.

In 26 EPL games he played (24 games started), he scored 14 goals. No hat-trick though but he can always appear at the right place in the right time. He's that kind of clutch player.

When Salah and Mane are fine, Liverpool would always shine.

Son Heung-Min (Tottenham)

Stats: 9 goals, 7 assists, 7.28 average ratings

Kane & Son involved in 20 goals of 47 Tottenham's EPL goals this season, more than 42%. The 2 daggers are essential to Spurs now, so maybe the suspension could be a benefit to the Lilywhites.

Son made some mistakes though. He was sent off twice this year, and the 2 red cards, either the one on Andre Gomes or the one on Rudiger, caused some drama on the internet. But when Kane fell down, Son took it over.

Son scored 4 goals in Spurs' first 5 PL goals without Kane, before he suffered the arm fracture. He broke his arm at the start of the Villa game, but he still played until the final whistle, and scored a double, including the winning goal.

Tottenham could finish rest of the season with both Kane & Son. Wish Son maintain his form and carry the team to EPL Top 4.

Kevin de Bruyne (Man City)

Stats: 8 goals, 16 assists, 7.92 average ratings, 7 MOTMs

Last year, KDB was always bothered by the injuries. Knees, groin, hamstring... But this season, De Bruyne has proved us, he is still that Kevin De Bruyne.

The midfield master has been involved in 24 EPL goals this season - more than 1/3 of Man City's EPL goals. No one has more league assists than him in Euro top 5 leagues. And most of the assists could make audiences wet. The masterpiece observation on the pitch also sees him making league-leading 80 key passes, which means he could provide more than 3 chances per game.

And don't forget his shooting accuracy. As a midfielder, he scored 8 goals, hitting woodwork 3 times. Every time he shoots from outside the box, the opponent goalkeeper is having heartache.

You're witnessing the best attacking midfielder in the football world right now.

Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool)

Stats: 2 goals, 12 assists, 1988 total passes attempted, 67 successful crosses, EPL POTM for Dec

He's not taking corner quickly. He can take everything quickly.

As a wing-back, he played more like a midfielder. He attempted nearly 2000 passes, which could be ranked at 3rd in EPL, behind Van Dijk and Rodri. Most of them are long ball, though, he still completed more than 1500 of them, 10th in the league. This scary accuracy could always make the game run faster and faster, and make defenders exhausted.

And when he's down the flank, you should watch out! He's found his teammates 67 times with his crosses, that's where most of his assists come from. The 4-0 away win against Leicester could be seen as the highlight of his season, in which he was involved in 3 goals.

What's more, he could also produce 1.2 steals and 0.9 interceptions per game. So, can we say he's the best right-back in the world now?

Sergio Aguero (Man City)

Stats: 16 goals, 3 assists, 88 minutes per goal spent, EPL POTM for Jan

Pep loves rotation, as we all know, so Aguero hasn't played too much this season. He's also suffered a 5-week injury in December. But maybe the rotation is just the reason inspired  Kun Aguero's killer instinct.

He can score a PL goal every 88 minutes this season. Who else played at least 1000 minutes PL games this season can do this? No one.

He's 31, people says he's old, he should be replaced by Jesus or some guy from the transfer market. What Aguero doing is just proving them wrong - by scoring goals.

He has scored 180 goals in Premier League, all of which are for City, ranking at 4th of the all-time EPL scorer table, behind Shearer(260), Rooney (208), and Andy Cole (187). If he can continue this form, It's not a problem for him to continue chasing the records.
