Valencia star Rodrigo 'wants another crack at EPL' with Everton interested

Rodrigo has told Valencia that he's wants to play in the Premier League again – eight years after his stint at Bolton Wanderers.

The 28-year-old has become one of La Liga's best forwards and helped Valencia finish fourth, earning them a spot in the Champions League next season.

According to The Sun, Rodrigo now wants to test himself in England's top flight again which has now put a number of Premier League clubs on red alert.

West Ham and Everton are reportedly interested in the forward and would have to stump up £30million should Valencia decide to honour Rodrigo's wishes.

The Spain international netted 15 goals last season while he also guided the club to the Spanish Cup last month.

Rodrigo got his break on loan at Bolton while at Benfica in the 2010-11 campaign.

He made 21 appearances for the Trotters where he scored one and bagged himself an assist.

Everton have enquired about the striker in the past while West Ham are also monitoring his situation.

Rodrigo has also been linked with a move to Barcelona.

He told Radio Marca earlier this month: 'I've always said in my five years at Valencia that I'm their player.

'They, like me, have their own needs. I've spoken to the general director. I can't promise anything, it's not a yes or no (to a move away). But I'm not worried.

'I want to celebrate what I've achieved and nothing is easy. It's about getting six points for the national team and then relaxing.

'If they (Barcelona) are talking about you, you have to be happy and feel motivated. It means you are doing things the right way and are growing as a footballer.'
