Chelsea legend Gianluca Vialli has shown off his incredible physique after he underwent treatment for pancreatic cancer.
Vialli revealed over a year ago that he was battling cancer but pleaded he wanted to live as normal a life as possible.
He has since taken to his Instagram to post some inspiring messages alongside a photo that shows he is still in great shape after his playing days.
The caption read: 'The new year stands before us, like a chapter in a book, waiting to be written. We can help write that story by setting goals' (Melody Beattie).
Mine are to regain both my physical and mental strength. And to inspire people!'
He posted another image of himself by the beach and captioned it: 'I am grateful'.
When the news broke that the former Chelsea man had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, the Blues fans paid their respects with a message for the ex-striker before a Carabao Cup tie with Manchester United.
As the players walked out ahead of the match, the Chelsea fans held up a banner that said: 'Forza Vialli. We are with you'.
Vialli was played Juventus, Chelsea, US Cremonese and Sampdoria during his career and also achieved 59 caps for Italy.
The Italians goal return for the London club was an impressive one as he scored 40 goals in 83 appearances across all competitions.
He retired whilst at Stamford Bridge after becoming player-manager when Ruud Gullit was sacked in February 1998. The then 33-year-old became the first Italian to manage in the Premier League and won the League Cup and the European Cup winners Cup under Vialli in his first few months in charge.
He made his final appearance for the Blues in the 1999/00 season against Derby County, where he scored a goal and wrote himself into Chelsea folklore.
