During a recent interview on Portugal’s Canal 11, the PSG midfielder was asked to name the best midfielders in world football.

Vitinha certainly did not hesitate when choosing the player he believes deserves the top spot.
“I would put Pedri in first place. He’s magical. It’s spectacular to watch him play. When you play against him, you understand it even better.
“Then, in the ‘Top 3’, it’s a little difficult for me. It’s hard to choose just two. I would put Joao Neves and Bruno Fernandes.
“The two of them would be there with Pedri and me. So I don’t have a ‘Top 3’, I have a better ‘Top 4’,” he said.
Furthermore, Vitinha also addressed the question of whether he considers himself the best midfielder in the world.
The Portuguese international was careful with his answer, choosing to emphasise humility while still acknowledging his level.
“I accept being one of the best, but to say the best would seem arrogant to me because that depends on opinions, on how long you’ve been at the top level, on the titles you’ve won.
“But I do feel I belong in that group because of what I’ve done in recent years, not so much because of this season,” he concluded.
