Manchester City defender Kyle Walker has joked that the next FIFA 20 squad update should see his position change to a goalkeeper after his performance in the Champions League against Atalanta.
Walker made one save as an emergency goalkeeper and helped City claim a point at the San Siro. The defender wants his performance to be recognised in the next FIFA 20 squad update.
The 29-year-old's heroics against Southampton at the weekend have already landed him a spot in this week's Ultimate Team Team of the Week, boosting his rating from 84 to 86.
And Walker has now joked he is due another new card - with his new position being in goal. He posted a picture of the potential new card on his Instagram story.
Walker wrote: "**Updates squads on FIFA 20."
It wouldn't be the first time that EA Sports have created a one-off goalkeeper card for an outfield player.
Back in 2012, Galatasaray shot stopper Fernando Muslera was sent off in the 89th minute forcing Brazilian midfielder Felipe Melo to take his place between the sticks.
Melo managed to save the penalty and earn his side three points in a Super Lig game against Elazigspor.
EA Sports were quick to recognise his efforts and handed him a spot in the Team of the Week as a goalkeeper.
However, they reduced his rating from 81 to 64, seeing him drop from a Gold card to Bronze meaning despite his efforts, Walker is unlikely to be handed the 87 rating he joked he deserves.
