Neil Warnock was overheard going on an expletive-laden rant about Match of the Day host Gary Lineker, following Cardiff's victory over Bournemouth.
The veteran manager was in the interview room following his side's impressive 2-0 victory, preparing to answer questions on camera for Match of the Day.
As the interviewer was readying for the segment, Warnock could be heard saying: 'tell Gary Lineker to f*** off".'
The 70-year-old then made reference to Lineker calling him 'Colin' - a nickname that has followed Warnock around during his career and often used to taunt him.
The explanation behind the name simply comes from Neil Warnock being an anagram of 'Colin W***er'.
Footage of the pre-interview chat was somehow recorded and quickly circulated on social media, with users on Twitter finding Warnock's response hilarious.
Many football fans sent the clip to Lineker via Twitter, on which he is frequently active, but the England legend is yet to reply.
Warnock was widely applauded by Cardiff fans on Saturday, as he masterminded an important victory on a highly emotional afternoon.
The fixture was supposed to have been the home debut of Emiliano Sala, who disappeared mid-flight back to Cardiff along with pilot Dave Ibbotson after becoming the club's record signing.
Bobby Reid scored a brace as the Bluebirds picked up maximum points, and celebrated by holding aloft a shirt bearing the image of the Argentine striker.
