Hertha's luxurious Omni-Resort in Florida is primarily an ideal training ground. But behind bushes and in the small lakes there is a danger - alligators!
For their protection, the team was advised not to get balls by hand in the adjacent pools: danger from the predators!
Assistant coach Alex Nouri: "Jürgen Klinsmann and I told the team to avoid the puddles here."
The groundskeeper Josh Newman: "The small animals are not a problem. But there are larger exemplars that shouldn't be provoked."
On the way between the hotel and the training area, the players run over a small bridge and have the best view of the alligators from there.
