Watford 2-1 Crystal Palace: Hornets win three EPL games out of three

Watford have claimed maximum points from their opening three games following a 2-1 victory against Crystal Palace on Sunday afternoon.

After a tight first half at a rainy Vicarage Road, Pereyra broke the deadlock with a bit of magic, curling the ball home into the bottom corner from the edge of the box in the 53rd minute. And then Jose Holebas doubled the hosts' lead after his attempted cross found the corner of the net, leaving Wayne Hennessey with no chance in the Palace goal.

Wilfried Zaha, who received a hostile atmosphere back at Vicarage Road, grabbed a goal back for Roy Hodgson's men in the 78th minute but it wasn't enough as the hosts held on for all three points.
