With all elite football in England called off due to the coronavirus pandemic, many fans were left wondering what to do this weekend.
Watford came up with a solution as they simulated their postponed game against Leicester City on Football Manager, who they have a partnership with.
The Hornets were reduced to ten men in the early stages as midfielder Etienne Capoue was sent off for a rash challenge.
Watford posted a video of the simulation along with the following caption: 'The show must go on Watford vs Leicester brought to you by Football Manager! Come on you 'Orns...'.
Matters took a further turn for the worse for Watford in the second half as Leicester took the lead courtesy of Marc Albrighton.
However, the game ended in a 1-1 draw, with Roberto Pereyra scoring a well-struck equaliser for Watford in the closing stages.
Some fans weren't happy with how the simulation panned out, with one Twitter user writing: 'Could’ve just quit without saving, didn’t need to post the L online.'
Another added: 'own up how many times did you have to replay this to not lose.'
Another fan wrote: 'This isn’t even real and we still haven’t won.'
