Wayne Rooney's son Kai branded Marcus Rashford a 'legend' as he posed with the Manchester United forward.
While it is unclear when the picture was taken, the teenager was all smiles as he wore Red Devils training gear to snap a picture with Rashford.
Kai added the image to his Instagram story accompanied by a salute emoji.
Wayne, who was Rashford's team-mate when the forward was starting out in the United first team, re-shared the image with the caption: 'Thanks @marcusrashford.'
Kai is registered to the Red Devils academy, and is tipped for a bright future and raised eyebrows with some strong performances last season.
He scored 53 goals as he potentially looks to emulate the success his dad - who now manages in America - achieved during his career.
It's currently the off-season in the MLS, and Wayne is preparing his DC United side for a fresh campaign in 2023.
They endured a difficult 2022 season, finishing bottom of the Eastern conference.
Rooney took over the side in July having just been relegated to League One with Derby County back in England.
