Sadio Mane insists he is not missing the weather back home as Liverpool got stuck into their training camp in the south of Spain ahead of the Champions League final.
Jurgen Klopp's side face Tottenham at the Wanda Metropolitano in Madrid in 11 days' time and have travelled to Marbella to fine-tune their preparations.
Klopp is hoping that the warm weather will help his players acclimatise in time for the heat of a showpiece occasion in the Spanish capital.
It is not the first time Klopp has taken his squad down to the Costa del Sol for a training camp and Mane admits the sunshine is one of its best attractions.
'No-one misses the Liverpool weather, to be honest! That’s it.
'Now I think it is important for us to be back and prepare for the big game. We know how to do it [prepare], so we’re looking forward to it.'
Mane and his team-mates made the most of some time off following the end of the season before the final on June 1.
'It’s really important because we have been playing every [few days], so it’s good for us to have a few days off', he admits.
'We had that and now we are back looking forward.'
It is Liverpool's second European Cup final in two years and Mane believes they will benefit from the experience of going so far last year before losing to Real Madrid in Kiev.
'We have some experience about it and we know how it is because we were there last year and were unlucky we didn’t win, although Real [Madrid] were very good.
'We are feeling really, really positive and for us it would be a big, big thing [to win it]. Tottenham and ourselves are both really young, but we both have lots of experience and have played every kind of game.
'It is exciting and we want to win it, for sure – everybody knows. We’re not here to think twice about it, we’re just going to go there to try to win it.'
