West Brom want to sign Middlesbrough's in-form forward Duncan Watmore on a free transfer in January.

Watmore, who was released by Sunderland in the summer, has scored five goals in eight games for Boro since agreeing a short-term deal with the Championship club in November.
The 26-year-old's contract at the Riverside expires on January 17 and he has been offered an extension by Middlesbrough manager Neil Warnock.
But Watmore has now attracted interest from new Baggies boss Sam Allardyce, who is a big fan of the player from when he worked with him at Sunderland, as is his No2 Robbie Stockdale.
Burnley are another Premier League club keen on the former England Under-21s international, with promotion-chasing Boro facing a fight to hang on to their new star.

Speaking earlier this week, Warnock said: 'Duncan's enjoying it. We're talking to him all the time and I do hope he stays.
'You do worry, but life's too short. All we can do is try and if it doesn't come off then you move on.'
