West Ham fans have continued to support disgraced animal abuser Kurt Zouma with chants defending him, in unedifying scenes.
The French centre half has been widely condemned for his actions, with both the player and the club losing sponsors after a shocking video emerged of him kicking and slapping his cat in front of a young child.
But a video posted by a Hammers fan on Twitter shows fellow supporters, who appear to be in a pub before their side's Premier League clash with Leicester, singing supportive songs about Zouma and even booting around an inflatable cat.
Their chant went: 'Kurt Zouma's magic, he wears his magic hat, and if you throw a cat at him he'll kick the f***er back.
'He kicks it to the left, he kicks it to the right, and when we win Europa League we'll sing this song all night,' before repeating again.
The video, posted on Snapchat by Kurt's brother Yoan, also a professional footballer, quickly went viral on social media.
Zouma was fined two weeks' wages, equalling £250,000, but manager David Moyes started the £30million summer signing from Chelsea against Watford despite calls for him to be dropped.
He helped his side keep a clean sheet in a 1-0 victory, but former West Ham player Joe Cole called the decision to play him a 'miscalculation' and fans reacted angrily to Moyes' bullishness in playing him.
The 27-year-old Frenchman was set to start again against the Foxes on Sunday afternoon, but pulled out in the warm-up due to feeling unwell, and was replaced by compatriot Issa Diop.
