West Ham stars celebrate Lanzini's birthday as Anderson sings club anthem

West Ham's squad let their hair down to celebrate Manuel Lanzini's birthday in Marbella on Friday night.

Manuel Pellegrini's side are not in action until the welcome London rivals Fulham on January 22 and they have taken advantage of the chance to get away for some warm-weather training.

The Argentine was presented with a cake by his team-mates at a squad dinner before Felipe Anderson stepped up for some karaoke as he gave his best rendition of club anthem 'I'm Forever Blowing Bubbles' to the delight of everyone else.

The Brazilian winger has been one of the club's stand-out performers this campaign and he showed he can translate his confidence and swagger to the microphone as team-mates quickly recorded the footage.

Angelo Ogbonna and striker Javier Hernandez put the clips on their Instagram pages as defender Issa Diop also got involved in what was an initiation-like gathering.

This weekend is devoted to fifth round action in the FA Cup but West Ham were stunned in the previous round by lower-league opposition.

A much-changed Hammers side took on struggling League One outfit AFC Wimbledon but Pellegrini's players failed to handle the occasion and were beaten 4-2.

That gave Pellegrini the chance to take his squad to sunnier climbs for a few days as he returned to Malaga, a place where he was manager previously in his career.

It was believed it would help unite the players by taking them out of their typical environment at the club's Rush Green training ground.

Speaking to the club's website about the trip, Pellegrini said: 'We continue with eight players injured, so I think this stop  will be very useful for us.

'We are not going to go on holiday. We are going to work there, maybe in better weather than here. Also, to take them out some days is good for the group, so there are a lot of things that helped me decide to take the team there.'
