West Ham star Michail Antonio was able to see the funny side after he had a goal disallowed for handball against Southampton.
The Hammers prevailed with a 1-0 victory courtesy of Sebastien Haller's goal, but Antonio thought he had added to his side's lead in the second half.
The ball struck Antonio's arm in the buildup to the goal, but it appeared that Southampton defender Jan Bednarek kicked the ball against the West Ham attacker.
It seemed that Antonio was rather unfortunate to see his effort ruled out, but the decision was made after VAR was consulted.
Antonio posted a hilarious picture of himself with huge hands on Twitter and commented: 'These handball decisions are killing me, can’t work out why it keeps happening.'
After the game, Antonio told Sky Sports: 'I think I might cut my hands off (because of handballs)! It happened at Chelsea and it happened to me today. It’s like a magnet!'.
Despite the disallowed goal, West Ham managed to take all three points as they moved up to 15th place in the Premier League.
Another defeat would have further increased the pressure on West Ham manager Manuel Pellegrini.
West Ham are not in action again until Boxing Day, when they face Crystal Palace away.
