Declan Rice insists he is 'just focused on playing for West Ham' despite being linked with interest from two of the Premier League's biggest clubs.

The 20-year-old midfielder, who recently made his England debut, is said to be on the watch-lists of both Manchester United and City.

But the Londoner is under contract until 2024 and thoroughly enjoying his time with the Hammers.

Rice told BT Sport: 'I'm happy. I'm playing week in week out.

'I have a special connection with the fans. It's unbelievable. I love every minute of being at West Ham.'

Addressing transfer rumours, he added: 'Being compared to players, being linked to other teams, I don't really take any of it in to be honest.

'If you think about it too much you get caught up in it. I'm only 20, you've got your whole career ahead of you.

'I'm just focused on playing for West Ham and playing with a smile on my face and enjoying it.'

Rice has started 29 Premier League games this season, scoring two goals.
