Argentina international Enzo Fernandez has hit the ground running since arriving at Chelsea in the January transfer window and he's quickly become synonymous with blonde hair dye

Having wrapped up a record-breaking move while blonde, the midfielder's hair colour could be a lucky omen and key to his success in the Premier League thus far. He announced the return of his iconic hair colour with a post on Instagram, which has racked up over two million likes from fans.

Hundreds of supporters also flooded the comment section to show their admiration for Fernandez. With a blue heart, Argentina flag and happy face emoji, he captioned his post: "Nothing more beautiful than being back home."

Fernandez signed an eight-and-a-half-year contract at Stamford Bridge, becoming the most expensive player in the club's history. Upon his arrival, he admitted he's grateful for the chance to play for the west Londoners.

Speaking to the club's official website, the midfielder said: "I am grateful to Chelsea and its ownership for doing everything they could to make me a part of this project. I’m happy and excited to join the Pride of London, to play in the best league in the world and to compete for the biggest trophies. I can’t wait to play in front of our fans and help my teammates on and off the pitch."

Then, in an interview with The Guardian, Fernandez explained how he's quickly become one of the world's best in his position. The Chelsea star said: "I’ve learned something at every stage of my career.

"But you’d have to say River was the club where I really learned my stuff. They really developed me as a person, on and off the field. River were the ones who opened the door to Europe for me.

"Then, to win the World Cup with that amazing group of players, it’s a dream isn’t it? It’s so hard to win the World Cup. But we had players with ability and a really strong mentality.

"You never lose that desire to learn. That’s what’s always signified my style, my play and my training – wanting to improve, wanting to be better as a footballer and as a man."

Then, when quizzed on whether his eye-watering price tag fazes him or not, Fernandez replied: "These figures are nothing to do with me. It’s part of football. My job is to go out and give my best."

Sadly, Fernandez is yet to explain the lore behind his choice of hair dye.
