Pape Matar Sarr has shone so far this season under Ange Postecoglou at Spurs and the Senegalese international is showing his skills in training as well as matches
Sarr came off the bench for the final 15 minutes of the Brentford clash on the opening day of the Premier League season, before starting and scoring against Manchester United last weekend.
It was Sarr's first goal for the club, and, more than the strike, he turned in an exceptional display in the middle of the park alongside Yves Bissouma and James Maddison.
Sarr knows he has a battle on his hands for a starting berth, with Oliver Skipp and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg also in place. Not to mention Rodrigo Bentancur coming back from injury next month.
It means Postecoglou has a welcome headache to contend with. But, for the Senegalese international, Postecoglou has certainly had quite the impact.
That showed with his all-action display against United but has also been clear for all to see in Spurs training too.
