Chelsea news as Todd Boehly is expected to be in attendance at Stamford Bridge this evening for the Blues' Champions League clash with Real Madrid
Chelsea return to Champions League action this evening against Real Madrid knowing they must overcome a two-goal deficit. The Blues fell to defeat in the first leg in Spain and face an uphill task of advancing to the semi-final.
With proceedings continuing to be a mess on the field, Todd Boehly continues to work behind the scenes to appoint a new permanent manager. It's understood that Lampard will see out his caretaker spell until the end of the season, though Boehly remains hands-on.
Now, three days after the loss to Brighton, Boehly will be back at Stamford Bridge for the second leg against Real Madrid. And despite his antics over the weekend, the Chelsea owner was greeted with open arms by one supporter.
In a video posted by El Chiringuito TV, a supporter present when Boehly arrived for lunch in London shouted "Come on, Chelsea" from a distance, forcing a smile on the American's face.
