Erik ten Hag made five permanent Manchester United summer signings, with Tyrell Malacia, Christian Eriksen, Casemiro, Antony and Lisandro Martinez all putting pen to paper.
United's bloated squad was reduced following the release of six out-of-contract players and the departures of Eric Bailly and Alex Telles on loan.
United have now triggered the one-year extensions of four players' contracts, Marcus Rashford, Luke Shaw, Diogo Dalot, and Fred.
