Arsenal and Manchester City are hours away from learning who they'll face in the Champions League round of 16.

The Premier League pair each finished top of their groups, all while Manchester United and Newcastle crashed out of Europe at the first hurdle. All eyes will be on UEFA's headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland on Monday morning, as we'll find out the first knockout fixtures on the road to the final at Wembley on June 1.

Reigning champions City made light work of Group G, winning all six of their group games and finishing six points ahead of runners-up RB Leipzig. Arsenal also made it through Group B comfortably, besting second-placed PSV Eindhoven by four points to finish in first.

Group A saw German giants Bayern Munich and Danish surprise package Copenhagen qualify over United, while there no shocks in Group C as 14-time winners Real Madrid and Italian champions Napoli advanced. Progressing in Group D were in-form Spaniard Real Sociedad and Serie A leaders Inter Milan, while Group E had Atletico Madrid and Lazio in the first and second respectively.

There were eyebrows raised in Newcastle's Group F, as the Magpies ended up rock bottom and Borussia Dortmund finished top over Paris Saint-Germain. And in Group H, Barcelona edged Porto by to claim a seeded position.
