May 25, 2005 will forever be a day etched into the prestigious history for Liverpool Football Club.
The Reds lifted the Champions League trophy in Istanbul for the fifth time in their history, coming back from 3-0 down to draw 3-3 and win the tie on penalties.
The players involved, including Jamie Carregher, Jerzy Dudek, club captain Steven Gerrard, and a host of others wrote their names into the history books to earn legend status at Anfield.
Since it has been 15 years since that famous night, we have taken a look at where the members of that squad are now.
Jerzy Dudek
The Poland goalkeeper became an Anfield icon the moment he saved that crucial spot kick from Andriy Shevchenko in Istanbul, as well as the spectacular double save in extra time.
Dudek made 186 appearances for the Reds, before leaving to sign for Real Madrid in 2007 and eventually retired in 2011.
He since focused his attention on motor racing, competing in the 24H Series endurance races and other renowned competitions.
Steve Finnan
Finnan was arguably an unsung hero from that Champions League campaign, performing consistently at right-back to help the Reds lift the famous trophy.
After leaving Anfield in 2008 to sign for Espanyol, the Republic of Ireland defender later returned to England to sign for Portsmouth, before retiring in 2010.
He then opted to have a career away from football and out of the spotlight, and was involved in a London-based property company which he left in 2018.

After making 464 appearances for the Reds, 'Big Sami' as he was fondly known left Anfield in 2009 to join Bayer Leverkusen, where he finished his playing career and eventually became manager.
He has since had spells in charge of Brighton and FC Zurich, and currently works occasionally as a pundit.
Djimi Traore
Traore produced a sensational goal-line clearance to deny Shevchenko what would have been a winning goal in Istanbul.
The defender made 141 appearances for the Reds, before leaving to sign for Charlton Athletic in 2007, and later had stints in France with Marseille and Monaco.
He would spend two years with MLS outfit Seattle Sounders before retiring in 2014, and remained at the club as a coach where he works as assistant boss at CenturyLink Field.
Xabi Alonso
Alonso is famous for scoring Liverpool's equaliser in Istanbul, and is still held in high regard by the Anfield faithful.
He left the Reds in 2008 to sign for Real Madrid, and would then move to Bayern Munich before retiring in 2017.
The Spaniard now works as manager of Real Socieded B, and has been tipped to have a successful career in the dugout.
Steven Gerrard
A Reds legend, who grabbed the game by the scruff of the neck in Istanul to help bring Liverpool back into the game with his header in the early stages of the second half.

Riise made 348 appearances for the Reds before leaving to sign for Roma in 2008, and would later have spells at Fulham, APOEL, Delhi Dynamos, Aalesunds FK and Chennaiyin FC where he would then retire in 2016.
Since his retirement, Riise can be seen working occasionally as a pundit, and had a spells as technical director of Maltese club Birkirkara, but resigned in March 2019 for personal reasons.
Harry Kewell
Kewell did not make his desired impact in the final at Instabul, after being withdrawn early on due to an injury.
He would leave Anfield in 2008 to sign for Galatasaray, before returning to Australia to have spells with Melbourne Victory and Melbourne Heart.
Kewell has since gone into coaching, and has had stints as manager of Crawley Town and Notts County, but is currently out of work.
Milan Baros
Baros was the main striker for the Reds against AC Milan, and is still playing to this day at the age of 36.
He made over 100 appearances for the Reds before leaving in August 2005, less than three months after the triumph in Istanbul.
The Czech Republic international later had spells with Aston Villa, Lyon and Galatasaray, and is currently in his fourth stint with boyhood club Banik Ostrava.
Subs: Didi Hamann
Hamann came off the bench at half time in Istanbul in place of Finnan, and would then score in the penalty shootout to help the Reds lift the famous trophy.
He would leave the Reds in 2006 to sign for Man City, and would have spells as a coach at Leicester City, MK Dons and Stockport County.
The Germany international can now be seen featuring occasionally as a pundit in his homeland and the England.
Vladimir Smicer
Another substitute by Rafa Benitez in Istanbul, he replaced the injury Kewell in the first half and later scored the Reds' second goal as well as a crucial spot-kick in the shootout.
Smicer's appearance in the final would be his last in a Liverpool shirt, but what a way to sign off!
He left the Reds a few weeks after the triumph in Istanbul to sign for Bordeaux, and retired in 2009 at his first club, Slavia Prague.
Djibril Cisse
Cisse came off the bench to replace Baros in the second half, and was also on the scoresheet in the shootout to help Liverpool claim a historic victory.
Stints at Marseille, Sunderland, Panathinaikos, Lazio, Al-Gharafa, Kuban Krasnodar and Bastia all followed after his Anfield exit in 2006.
He would then retire in 2015, but returned to the game in two years later to sign for Swiss third division side Yverdon-Sport, where he scored 24 goals in 29 appearances before retiring once again in 2018.
The France international recently stated that he is keen to again come out of retirement, as he bids to reach 100 goals in France's Ligue 1.
