Manchester United have agreed a deal to sign 18-year-old Mali starlet Sekou Kone - with the midfielder set to have a medical with the club next week.
Little is known about Kone, but he is highly rated and one of the country's most promising young talents; having emerged after featuring for the African nation at the Under-17 World Cup.
Kone was a key player for Mali and turned the heads of scouts as he helped his side finish third - losing narrowly to France in the semi-finals before beating Argentina 3-0 in the third-placed play-off.
Mirror Football has taken a look at Kone ahead of his big move to Manchester United to give fans all they need to know.
Who is Sekou Kone?
The 18-year-old plays for local Malian side Guidars FC having previously come from the JMG academy, the same famed complex that has produced some of the country's biggest stars, such as Tottenham's Yves Bissouma and Amadou Haidara.
He has joined the agency Blackskill, which is the same one guiding the career of Crystal Palace midfielder Cheick Doucoure.
It's believed United are paying Guidars around £1.2m with the hopes of integrating into the Under-21 team, as well as gifting him first team training opportunities to aid his development.
What's his best position?
Kone primarily played as a defensive midfielder at the Under-17 World Cup but is capable of playing slightly further forward too.
He is largely known for his defensive and ball-winning qualities, as well as ability to cover lots of ground and track back to thwart counter attacks, but he has also impressed as an all-round midfielder and has shown he can get forward and contribute to attacks.
This was shown by his two assists at the World Cup and his versatile performances quickly generated interest, with Man United scouts acting quickly to convince officials to bring him to Old Trafford. He would be the latest young talent to arrive at the club after Leny Yoro and Joshua Zirkzee.
Who has he been compared to?
No pressure Kone - but many African publications have been comparing him to Manchester City legend Yaya Toure due to his explosive and energetic displays in the middle of the park.
Toure was one of the greatest Premier League midfielders of all time and was an integral part of the City squad that emerged as one of the dominant forces in the top flight - winning three Premier League titles, one FA Cup and two League Cups. He also won the African Cup of Nations with Ivory Coast in 2015.
While it might be too soon to talk up the comparisons between Kone and Toure, the future does look bright for the teenager. TalkSport claim United have a "clear progression plan" for him, with the hope that he might one day develop to partner Kobbie Mainoo in midfield.
