Bukayo Saka will not get any assist points in the Fantasy Premier League depsite his involvement in Arsenal's second goal against Crystal Palace.
The Gunners took the lead inside 11 minutes of the game, with Gabriel heading in a corner from Declan Rice to give the hosts an early lead.
Mikel Arteta's side doubled their lead on the 37th minute. Saka's wonderful inswinging ball was eventually turned in by Gabriel - but the final touch came off Palace keeper Dean Henderson.
There was a slight check by VAR - before the goal was eventually given. On replay, it looked Gunners defender Ben White was holding Henderson in the centre, meaning the Eagles keeper couldn't get anywhere near the ball.
Gabriel the headed the ball back across goal, before the ball eventually went into the back of the net off Henderson.
At first, Fantasy Premier League originally gave the goal to the Brazilian defender - meaning that Saka would get the credit for the assist - much to the delight of many FPL fans.
However, after a review, it was eventually given as an own goal by Henderson. Posting on their official X account - formerly known as Twitter - Fantasy Premier League posted: 'After review, the Goal Accreditation Panel have confirmed Arsenal’s second goal to be an own goal by Dean Henderson.'
This therefore means that Gabriel will be awarded with the assist for the goal - much to the disappointment of many who had Saka in.
TNT pundit Martin Keown spoke about the second goal at half-time.
He said: 'Fantastic delivery going in, look at the blocking again, Ben White. Henderson can't get near it. I don't think he's fouled him. He's just stood there.
'And then there's Gabriel coming in at the far post and [Palace defender Chris] Richards doesn't come away from this with any glory. I think marking is a problem for him.'
The Gunners made it three just before the hour mark, with Leandro Trossard scoring his first in ten games.
Prior to his strike against Roy Hodgson's side, all of Trossard's goals were assisted by Saka. This time though, Brazilian forward Gabriel Jesus was on hand to assist the Belgium international with the goal.
The opening goal also courted some controversy, with the possibility of another foul in the penalty area which impeded play.
Gary Neville suggested that Arsenal fans are hypocrites for that goal, whilst complaining that Newcastle players were grappling with their centre back during their recent encounter.
Neville posted a picture of the box grappling to X (formerly Twitter) and asked 'Arsenal fans think this is a foul then' alongside two crying laughter emojis.
Ahead of the fixture, police were called in to confiscate a drum from Crystal Palace fans in the away end ahead of their Premier League game at the Emirates on Saturday.
According to Arsenal's fan guidelines, supporters are not permitted to bring musical instruments into the stadium.
