Tuttosport says the Scotland international has changed agents just this month, ending his time with Unique Sports Group to sign with the Wasserman agency.
Unique Sports had negotiated his move to Toro after he came off contract at Southampton in 2024.
Now it's suggested Adams is ready to leave Toro in January for a return to England, where Wolves and Fulham are keen.
With the Granata, Adams has a deal to 2027.
