Wolves chairman Jeff Shi has admitted the club's owners are seeking fresh investment in the club.
The Chinese group, Fosun International, bought Wolves in 2016 for £45million when they were in the Championship, with the Molineux club reaching the Premier League in 2018.
Yet after spending significant sums on players with international experience, such as Portugal midfielder Joao Moutinho and Mexico forward Raul Jimenez, Shi believes the time is right for new backing.
'We welcome any new partnership, new funding, new sponsorship to help us, to grow together with us. And to push the club to a high level in the future,' he told China Global Television Network.
Sportsmail revealed last month that Fosun faced £1billion losses after the collapse of Thomas Cook, but Wolves said this would have no impact on how the club was run.
Shi also hopes to make a breakthrough by the end of the season with plans to redevelop Molineux, which they hope would take the capacity to 46,000 within the next three-to-four years.
