Wolves defender Dion Sanderson is a target for Championship sides Cardiff City and Sheffield Wednesday ahead of Friday’s transfer deadline.
The Molineux club are open to either a permanent or loan deal for the 20-year old who had a successful spell on loan at Cardiff last season making ten appearances.
Wednesday have also expressed interest in Cardiff City centre back Aden Flint which could yet have a knock on effect to Sanderson’s next move.
Wednesday manager Garry Monk is having to contend with a spate of injuries and wants cover with 31-year old Flint a defender he has followed for some time and another possible option on loan.
Sanderson is younger and while a natural centre back has also filled in at right back.
He has one year left in contract at Wolves.
