Wales goalkeeping coach Tony Roberts is set to join Wolves after Euro 2020 to boost the Molineux club’s hopes of landing Danny Ward from Leicester City.
Roberts has worked closely with Ward to help Wales reach the last-16 where they will face Denmark on Saturday.
The 51-year-old former QPR and Wales player has been a coach with his national team since 2016 and also trained Birmingham City’s goalkeepers last season.
Wolves have targeted 28-year-old Ward who has impressed this month against Italy, Turkey and Switzerland.
He joined Leicester from Liverpool in 2018 but has failed to make a league appearance due to the consistency of Kasper Schmeichel.
Current Wolves goalkeeper Rui Patricio could leave the club this summer in a rebuild following the departure of manager Nuno Espirito Santo.
The Portugal No 1 has been linked with a move to Roma.
