Brian Madjo, the Cameroonian striker, has officially left FC Metz to sign with Aston Villa, an ambitious Premier League club, just hours after the transfer was announced.
Despite his young age, the Enfield, England native has already tasted the highest level of French football.
This season, he has alternated between Metz’s reserve team and the professional squad, showing remarkable efficiency in National 3 and gaining experience in Ligue 1 with five appearances.
Aston Villa, currently on the podium of the English championship, is clearly betting on youth and potential. Brian Madjo is part of this policy, with the aim of reaching new heights under Unai Emery.
