According to talkSPORT, the decision not to award Liverpool a penalty after Timber pulled Isak's shirt was a "dereliction of duty."

talkSPORT hosts Jeff Stelling and Ally McCoist shared this view and criticized VAR for not intervening at Anfield.
In the 21st minute of the match, which Arsenal ultimately won 1-0, Barcola sent a dangerous cross into the box.
Isak got in front of Timber to head the ball into the net and equalize, but Timber clearly pulled his shirt.
The pull appeared to stop the Liverpool forward from making proper contact, and the ball drifted wide of the far post.
Referee Andy Madley did not see the incident at the time. Isak stayed on his feet in the box and did not appeal to the referee.
VAR did not intervene after a review, as the incident did not meet the Premier League's high threshold for overturning an on-field decision. Arsenal went on to win by a single goal after the Reds suffered a controversial non-call in the first half.
Stelling and McCoist Blast VAR
Stelling discussed the costly controversy on talkSPORT's Breakfast show, saying: "Listen, I'm not going to blame the referee for not seeing it.
"There's no debate about whether it's a penalty. It clearly should have been one.
"VAR did not do its job. It was a dereliction of duty."
