Bayern Munich's Michael Olise won the Bundesliga January 2026 Player of the Month prize, finishing ahead of Muheim, Vušković, Luis Díaz, Schlotterbeck and Bell in the vote.

The selection process consists of two stages: first, the players' performance data is considered, and then the votes of fans and experts.

The determining factor for a Matchday is the month in which its Saturday falls. This time around, the data refers to Matchdays 16 to 20.

Thomas Müller, you have been warned. With the former Bayern legend lacing his boots in Canada, a certain Olise threatening to break his incredible record of 21 assists from the 2019/20 season. The 24-year-old Frenchman has already provided 156this campaign, eight of them in the last six matchdays alone.

Olise also scored three goals himself in January, making for ten goal involvements in the first month of 2026 – a figure no other player could match. In the 5-1 win against RB Leipzig on Matchday 18, Olise even came off the bench and still managed to contribute three assists – a feat last achieved by Franck Ribéry in March 2019.
