'Barcelona would be willing to let Coutinho go with the right offer'

Former Manchester United striker Andy Cole believes Barcelona could be willing to sell Philippe Coutinho.

The Brazilian arrived at the Nou Camp from Liverpool in January last year for a reported fee of up to £145million.

He appeared to have hit the ground running at the Catalan club, scoring 15 goals in 27 appearances in Spain, but this season has not been as fruitful, hampered further by the return to form of Ousmane Dembele.

And speaking on beIN SPORTS after an ineffectual cameo against Lyon on Tuesday, Cole suggested Barcelona could part company with the playmaker.

'To spend that kind of money on an individual you would expect him to play week-in, week-out but it seems Barcelona would be willing to let him go if they get the right offer for him,' said Cole.

'They have got a talented kid there in Dembele though.

'If he can stick to turning up on time instead of sleeping in! He's special, but seems he can't get out of bed in the morning.'
