One of the Premier League's quickest players had the pleasure of meeting the fastest man on Earth.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang couldn't contain his excitement as he got the chance to meet his 'hero' Usain Bolt while out and about in London.

The 28-year-old shared a picture of himself with the Jamaican star on Monday afternoon and Aubameyang readily admitted that he had no chance of beating Bolt in a footrace.

'This is what’s happen in London you can meet your heroes @usainbolt. First time in my life that I can say I'm ready to loose (sic),' the Arsenal forward wrote on his Instagram page.

The former Borussia Dortmund striker individually enjoyed a successful end to the season after he scored the only goal in Arsenal's 1-0 win over Huddersfield on the final day of the season.

The win on Sunday, which was  the first time the Gunners picked up away points in 2018, was also Arsene Wenger's last game in charge of the club.

Bolt is looking for his own personal glory in professional football after the Olympic legend attempted to make the transition from athletics after he trained with Dortmund last month.

The 31-year-old got the chance to showcase his skills during a number training sessions with the Bundesliga side and will get to do so again at Old Trafford when he features alongside the likes of Eric Cantona and Yaya Toure for the Soccer Aid match next month.
