Galatasaray defeated Istanbul Basaksehir 3-1 in the third round of the Turkish Cup group stage. Argentine striker Mauro Icardi, who scored the goal, unlocked a new record.
In the 6th minute of the match, Kutucu assisted Icardi to score a goal. Icardi thus surpassed Gheorghe Hagi to become Galatasaray's all-time top foreign scorer with 73 goals.
