AC Milan matchwinner Pavlovic: My best moment here

  /  autty

AC Milan defender Strahinja Pavlovic was proud proving the matchwinner against Roma last night.

Pavlovic struck the only goal of the night as the Rossonero won 1-0 to move third on the Serie A table above Roma on goal difference.

Afterwards the win at San Siro stadium, Pavlovic said: "It's an important win. I like to run, the coach leaves me free, and I'm happy I scored on that counterattack.

"This is definitely my best moment with Milan.

"As I said, Serie A is very difficult compared to other leagues. There's a lot of tactics, and my first year wasn't easy. I had to learn when to run, when to wait, how to play one-on-one. Then I always try to work.

"Coach (Massimiliano) Allegri has improved me, as a player and as a team."

Asked about the rumours of him potentially leaving last summer, Pavlovic added: "Honestly, I don't think so. I had a lot of goals here at the start of the season, I never thought about anything else."
