Aguero, Koulibaly & other football stars condemn New Zealand mosque shootings

Two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand were targeted during Friday prayers, with a 28-year-old man identifying himself as Brenton Tarrant killing 41. Responding to the attacks, many football stars took to social media condemning the sickening act of violence.

Salah said on Twitter: "Dreadful news coming out of New Zealand this morning.

"My condolences go out to the families of those innocent victims who lost their lives in this act of pure evil."

Tottenham midfielder Moussa Sissoko also sent out a message to send his thoughts to those affected by the horrific events.

He said: "All my thoughts and prayers goes to the victims and their families for this terrible attack in #NewZealand."

Apart from those two, Manchester City striker Sergio Kun Aguero said: "Devastating news from Zew Zealand. My thoughts are with the victims and their families."

Other football stars who choose to mourn for the victims and condemn the terrorists include Koulibaly Kalidou, Sam Kerr (forward of Australia women's national soccer team), Keisuke Honda, Demba Ba and Frederic Kanoute.
