Ajax are reportedly chasing Liverpool goalkeeper Vitezslav Jaros as the Dutch vice-champions are looking for a new starting goalkeeper.
Tim van Duijn of Voetbal International reported that the 23-year-old Jaros is on top of Ajax's list of potential starting goalkeepers. The Amsterdam club's board wants to replace 41-year-old Remko Pasveer, who's set to become the reserve goalkeeper.
Ajax are reportedly aiming for a loan deal for the Czech stopper, who has played two games in his Liverpool career. The one-time Czech international is familiar with former Liverpool assistant John Heitinga, who Ajax hired as their manager in May.
A deal is not yet in place, according to Van Duijn, as Liverpool's demands are currently too high for Ajax. Lille are reportedly also interested in the Czech goalkeeper, but would have to settle for a reserve spot behind Lucas Chevalier.
