4-1
Match Report:
Cristiano Ronaldo has won his first Saudi Pro League title with Al-Nassr after they won 4-1 against Damac, who have been relegated from the top-flight.
Al-Nassr knew victory on the final day would guarantee them the title, and their star players, Sadio Mane, Kingsley Coman and Ronaldo all scored to secure their first Pro League title since 2018-19.
The hosts dominated possession in the early stages, but saw efforts from Ronaldo, Joao Felix and Abdullah Al Khaibari fail to test the goalkeeper, before the deadlock was eventually broken in the 34th minute.
Joao Felix's out-swinging corner picked out Mane on the edge of the six-yard box, and the Senegal international did well to twist his body and plant a header into the back of the net.
Al-Nassr pushed for a second and got their rewards seven minutes into the second half; Coman played a give-and-go with Al Khaibari before curling into the bottom-left corner from the edge of the box.
Damac threatened a comeback when Morlaye Sylla fired in from the penalty spot after a handball from Mohamed Simakan, but Ronaldo then took centre stage to clinch his first league title with the club.
The former Real Madrid and Manchester United forward caught Kewin out with a low-driven free-kick from a tight angle just after the hour mark, before firing into the roof of the net to round off the victory nine minutes from time.
Al-Hilal, who have finished second, were briefly top of the league after taking the lead through Sultan Mandash against Al-Fayha inside four minutes.
Stylianos Vrontis and Marcos Leonardo saw goals ruled out by VAR for offside for their respective sides in the first half, while Ruben Neves missed a penalty after the break. Al-Hilal managed to hold on for their 1-0 win, but it was not enough to win the title.
Data Debrief: Ronaldo haunts Damac again to lift the title
Al-Nassr produced just 1.02 expected goals (xG) from 14 shots to Damac's 0.88, which was heavily boosted by the penalty, from three attempts, but Ronaldo was a man on a mission against a favoured opposition.
Ronaldo registered the most shots (five) as he chased his first Pro League crown, while he is the top scorer in matches between Al-Nassr and Damac (nine goals in six games). He has only scored more often against Al-Wedha (10) in the competition.
He also finished with 28 goals in the league this season, a tally only bettered by Julian Quinones (33) and Ivan Toney (32).
