On May 29, at a press conference held by Al Nassr, Sporting Director Fernando Hierro confirmed that the club has not yet made a decision regarding Cristiano Ronaldo’s future.
When asked about Ronaldo, Hierro said:
“We are still in negotiations with Cristiano and hope we can find a solution for a contract extension.”
He further added:
“Ronaldo’s presence has been a national-level project from the very beginning. He is a football legend and has helped grow the Saudi league. His contract runs until the end of June, and of course, we hope to renew it. We are in contact with him about extending his stay, and we hope he will remain with our team.”
